Since the 2002 release of their debut album Midas Well Get Drunk the LACS which consists of artists Clay Sharpe (Uncle Snap), Brandon Herndon (Yocal), and Brian King ( Captain Kang) have started to make a name for themselves in the independent music world. Their music which draws heavy on the dirty south movement with the rock / country traditions of the South has supplied them with a sound that has no comparison to other artists in their genre. The LACS name comes from a host of ideas so we leave it up to our fans for there interpretation. The LACS after generating alot of interest from the first album Midas Well Get Drunk the LACS formed their own label. So in the summer of 2003 with the help of Middle G Side Ya Mouth Records was born. The LACS remained independent and worked the south's underground scene opening for artists Pastor Troy, Mr. Mudd, Raheem tha Dream and Yola Da Great.
