Playing what he calls a style of “acousticfolkyfunkrock,” you can find Kyle Moreland on an average Saturday night in a local coffee shop, wooing the hearts and ears of his audience. After taking up the guitar eight years ago, the singer-songwriter from Kansas began playing live shows in 2001. “There’s something amazingly exciting about taking something that you’ve created and throwing it out into the world - seeing how it connects with people,” says Moreland. “The ultimate evening for me is getting a group of people together with some music and hopefully giving them something more than what they came there with.” And that’s exactly what his audience gets.
