Kimberley Locke is a Tennessee native who grew up siging in church and for fun. In high school she was in their singing and performance group. She went to Nashville's Belmont University where she studied business and sang with bands in the local area. In 2003 her friends and family convinced her to try out for the second season of American Idol where she made it to #3. After American Idol Kimberley Locke landed a recording contract with Curb. In March 2004 her first single "8th World Wonder" was released and was later followed up in May by her full-length Cd One Love.
