New York native Kim Jones is a singer/songwriter based in Denver, Colorado where she performs in coffee houses and other select venues such as The Soiled Dove. Jones’ style has been described as folk rock with rich acoustic rhythms and melodic vocals supported by a rock groove. Jones finished recording her second CD entitled Road Dreams which was released in 2002, on the heels of her debut 10-song compilation Life’s Mysteries which hit the streets in 2000. A finalist in the 1998 Lilith Fair Talent Search, Jones is an accomplished teller of tales whose music is as rich melodically as it is lyrically enchanting. “I like telling stories through my music,” says Jones. “Whether it’s about places I’ve been or people I have met or to share life’s journeys, my music lets me speak from the heart in a way that’s very personal to me.
