Karlie was born and raised in Sacramento, California. She is 19, and currently a music major at CalPoly San Luis Obispo. She has four songs recorded: "Angel," "Perfectly," "Ave Maria" and "The Prayer." "Angel" -- a cover of Sarah McLaughlin -- was her first song that she recorded in the studio at Saint Francis Catholic High School in Sacramento, California in the Spring of 2005. The recording was to honor a beloved teacher who tragically lost her daughter in the process of birth. "Perfectly" -- a cover of Natalie Imbruglia -- is one of the styles of songs that Karlie hopes to record more of in the future and we thought it would be a great song to show off her talent. "Ave Maria" is a song that Karlie wanted to record out of request of her grandmother and also, because she has a passion for opera as well.
