Kalus was formed in 2001. With a dedication to playing live and getting a great fan base going, everyone knew that this band would be successful. From raging guitar riffs and a drum powerhouse to melodic vocals the bands’ sound is now what it was meant to be from the beginning. The band has grabbed some major attention with the new sound. Kalus first grabbed the attention of Jagermeister, which now is a proud sponsor of the band. The band also sparked interest from James Riviera (Flotsam and Jetsam, Seven Witches, Hellstar…etc) and had Kalus open for his tribute band that was touring nationally. The band received a lot of positive feedback from the shows that they did with James. From this point Kalus was going in all the right directions. The band was also asked to open for The Rollins Band featuring Singer / Actor Henry Rollins. After that night the band felt a change, a change for the better.
