He is the keyboardist, live instrument player, producer & artist. All of these titles apply to the musician extraordinaire, J’Vaunte. Born Brian Garrett, the producer was introduced to the music world at the age of 5. Fast forward 29 years, & the multi-genre producer has come to be a force to be reckoned with in the music industry. As a young student of music, J’Vaunte would learn the piano through lessons & eventually go on to learn drums. By the time J’Vaunte reaches High School, he would be fluent at playing a number of instruments. But during J’Vauntes’ senior year, he would find himself growing tired of music after leading the school band for two years as Drum Major.
