At just 25, Jon Hopkins seems to have the world at his feet. He has two critically acclaimed albums under this belt, he’s a favourite of TV music supervisors pm both sides of the Atlantic and he’s regularly talked about in the same breath as Brian Eno, William Orbit, Moby, Massive Attack and Mike Oldfield. Mr Hopkins has a lot to live up to. Opalescent, Jon’s impressive debut album was released in 2001 on Absolute Zero, an imprint of one of the UK’s most exciting and fiercely independent record labels, Just Music.
