I'm a Hip Hop "beat maker" (notice I didn't say producer... I have not reached that level yet) from Virginia. I 've been making tracks off and on for about 12 years. I moved to PA and attended the Art Institute of Pittsburgh for Music Engineering and Production in 1992. In 1994 after taking an internship at AudioMation Studios, I began free lance producing for local artists such as The Jury, Lil Biz & Slim Capone. In 1996, I returned to Virginia and met Doug Evans of Bu Bonic (now Soul Logistics) In 1999 I participated in the Forbidden Fruit mixtape that featured Phil Bricks, Link Haze, Dapper Dave and others. In 2004 I hooked up R&B singer/producer Rodney Stith and formed Black Fist Entertainment. Here I had the opportunity to work with along side Tyra B. & Slim Kotter. Currently, I'm still 1/2 of Black Fist and partner to Soul Logistics. |
