Jim Morison's full name was James Douglas Morrison. He was born on December 8. 1943 to Clara and Steve Morrison. Clara was a housewife and Steve was a officer in U.S navy.He had a brother Andy and sister Anne.Because of the position of his father in milatery, the family moved often.First they moved from Florida to New Mexico and eventualy to Alexandria, Virginia.Jim graduated in year 1961.After graduation his parents adimantly sent him to St. Pettersburg Jr. college, where he had to live with his grandparents.During the year Jim was tired of living in St. Petersburg so he transfered to Florida state University.He didnt like it eather.So he transfered again in year 1964 to UCLA, where he become a member of a film school.During the week Jim studid hard, but during the weekend he almost always went to Venice Beach to write Poetry.Jim ran in to Ray Manzarek (the doors pianist) on Venice Beach.From that moment Jim decided to create a band (the doors).He found John Densmore(the drummer) a...
