Jethro Tull, whose make everyone has heard of, are one of the defining great non-heard-of bands of the 70s. Jethro Tull, whose realistic lyrics, creative style, and very good music was a huge hit with only a select few. It wasn't until 1971, when the album titled AQUALUNG came out on release, and became a top selling album. The album, which has the song "Aqualung" was about homeless people, has become one of the greatest, most well known songs ever written. One of the elements that makes Jethro Tull so enduring is the fact that this British band has been around, in its various incarnations, for almost thirty (30) years. In 1972, Tull followed the success of the previous album with THICK AS A BRICK with only contained one songs, one song of immense power, "Thick as a Brick".
