…And the Walls Came Down… Some may say that the band Jeriko was formed by a mere twist of fate. Founding members Jeremy Roberts and Erika Wilcox would have to disagree. Both believe that God orchestrated their meeting from the beginning. Coming from such different backgrounds it seemed like an unlikely friendship. Jeremy’s upbringing was difficult. He experienced the devastation of divorce at an early age. This caused him to place many walls in his life as a sense of protection. Searching for truth he tried many dead-end roads. Every road brought him back to same starting point. Growing tired of what life was offering him he began searching for truth. In January of 2002 he met Erika Wilcox. Erika Wilcox spent the majority of her life growing up in church with strong Christian family . She became a Christian at a young age. Through this friendship Jeremy was shown love and acceptance.
