I've been singing since I was a kid...really! Never seriously considered any other profession than singing. Yeah, I know that's weird...my kids tell me all the time how strange I am. LOL In 1985 I accepted Christ and began learning and performing Christian music. The biggest news in my musical journey has been since 2003. That fall, I launched a nursing home ministry (the industry term is "music therapy" but I think of what I do as more of a ministry than anything else). AS of March, 2009, I'm singing a one hour program of hymns and Gospel songs at 35 homes per month. Pretty amazing how God is blessing my "work"! Then in 2005, my brother, Bill Heeter, and I put out a self-released CD called "Lightning Strikes" featuring three original songs and new arrangements of 9 old hymns.
