Jasmine Lauren , born Jasmine Lauren Hutchinson from the Bronx, New York and raised in the home of the ,"dirty south genre", Atlanta, GA. This 16 year old songbird has been singing since before she could pronouce words and formulate sentences. Her parents belive it was due to a radio playing near her crib since she was an infant, along with her family's deep rooted musical history. Jasmine realized her talent and desire, and began to preform in school and talent shows across Atlanta. Her dream was to prefrom on the stage of the legendary Apollo in NYC, and was realized when she entered Apollo Kids competition in Atlanta where she was chosen as a runner up, to a 5 year old girl who recited the famous poem by Maya Angelo " Still I Rise". A no win situation, but winning is not everything.
