Kimberly "Janal" Taylor is a Chicago born artist. She was raised in Maywood, IL. She has been singing since a very young age. Janal recalls singing solos in front of huge church audiences at the age of 4 years old. She would sing her favorite song "Jesus loves me". Music has always been something that was very dear to her. At the age of 8 years old she took piano lessons. She also has taken formal voice training for several years. While in High School, she was active in her school's Accapella Chorus. Janal was also very active in her school's Gospel Choir. At the age of 17, she recorded with a local Chicago Community Choir. She has gone on to sing with several other recording choirs. Gospel will always be her roots and her first love. Many have asked the question if she regrets singing R&B verses Gospel. Her response is " God is love".
