Guatemalan artist Ingrid Loarca started singing in a local church at a very young age. As a teenager, Loarca realized her passion for Christian music, deciding to get involved in gospel. At the age of 17, Ingrid Loarca started touring Guatemala along with a missionary group. In 1998, the singer was one of the finalists at a talent festival organized by a Christian radio station. A year later, Loarca came in first place at the same event, getting the opportunity to record her first single, called "Diálogo de Amor," produced by Steve Cordón and Marvin Lima.
