Ian Vandiver AKA Half Dead was born in San Diego California and later on moved to Las Vegas where he was raised for most of his teen years. He started rapping at the age of 12 years old with some of the neighborhood kids an also with other teens from his school. After finding his own voice in the hip hop game he started to realize if he was going to make his voice heard what was his story. Growing up in the slums of Las Vegas where living isn’t cheap he found the streets as a place to play an quickly learned the rules that came with them. Gangs, drug dealers, real life pimps an drug attics were all around him and he had to find some security so he joined a local crew known as Money Making Hustlas.
