by first time playing MTV Music Generator game based Play Station One;
introduced by Iped (Miskin Kaya Surga Neraka: Iped bands name that time)
to Ipang (vocal, guitar & sampling GORGOM) in 2002. Ipang tried to mix the
sounds that out of the game with his song creation. His will of having his own
Techno Band so that cool and different, bring him to ask Jun (lead & vocal)
and Izral (rhythm) to made a band named discosucksdistortion
(DSD).
With DSD, they have
showed their performances at some places like Universitas Negeri Jakarta, Café
Sirkuit, Pondok Kelapa Underground, etc. That Play Station technology thought
mind caused they have to bring television to play the game, then the technology
been left. Ipang tried some software in computer and then he bought a cheap
portable computer for sound sampling experiments. DISCOSUCKSDISTORTION has
vacuum for a while. That wasted time used for making some new sampling for
ipangs new songs. Then he make new band called GORGOM. With personnel are Ipang
(sampling, vocal & rhythm), Ian (keyboard) and Yudi (lead guitar). gorgom
have showed their performance at some places too, like Universitas Negeri
Jakarta, Café Kemang-i, Puri Café, Parade Band McDonald 2005/2006, etc.
