Goodroad was formed in 2005 with the recording of their debut album Lonely Trip. The various members each come from a vastly different musical background. Allen Goodroad has gained most of his experience on the coffeehouse stage doing solo acoustic performances. Nick Sittig spent the past 10 years in Strong Men Stoop playing mainly punk and ska styles. Scott Rogers is a proud father of 3 who hasn't really had the opportunity to play in a group since moving to Sioux Falls from Green Bay, WI where he toured extensively up and down the coast of the Great Lakes. Eldon Fisher is an experienced guitar player whose main background is in the heavier side of music where he has earned numerous awards for his musicianship. Steve Grimes is another experienced guitar player out of Sioux Falls who many might recognize from the Glory Holes and Sugardaddy.
