Multi-instrumentalist Glenn Shambroom has explored a wide range of roots-music and jazz styles over the last thirty years. Originally from New Jersey, he spent the 70’s and 80’s working as a guitarist in country and rock & roll bands on the East Coast. By 1985, his focus had shifted, and he worked as a sax player in soul and r&b bands. As a founding member, Shambroom has played guitar and baritone sax with the Boston band The Love Dogs since 1994. The Love Dogs have released four cds of blues, funk, and swing on the ToneCool label, while taking their high energy, good-time brand of r&b on the road throughout the US, Canada, and Europe. In addition to his work with The Love Dogs, Glenn has released three well-received jazz cds of his own: MAKE ROOM FOR SNAPPY (2000), INCLUDE ME OUT (2003), and his current release BAND MATH.
