Fozz. We’d be lying if we said we weren’t good! With songs this clever, you’ll wonder how a band with such obvious talent, drive and vision aren’t already securely nestling in the CD collections of pimply faced teenagers, twenty year old wannabes and thirty something nostalgia freaks alike! It’s easy to see – actually, hear - why Fozz have been described as ‘Genre spanning’ and ‘deliciously clever’, but what’s not so immediately apparent is why their music is so appealing to such a diverse age range; could it be that their blend of Squeeze like lyrics and harmony, combined with a more contemporary Indie-guitar-pop sound captures something new yet familiar? From their very inception, conception and initial reception, Fozz have been one step ahead of the musical trend (their three piece sound can now be heard prominently in bands such as The Futureheads). 2005 has seen a change in line up and a change in style. One thing does remain constant however; there’s no change in appeal....
