Formaldehyde was founded by Mandy Rampe (vox, guitar, keys)in late 2003. She was joined by Jhenna Ashcraft (bass), Zach Burnett (guitar, vox), and Brian Keyes(drums). Together they form a sound unique in the Rochester/Finger Lakes Region. Playing a variety of styles, Expirimental, Metal, Alternative and many more. Formaldehyde will be releasing a 7-8 song ep this spring, 2006. The band has shared the stage w/truskill records BEDlight for blueEYES, Nightmare-Alice Cooper Tribute (L.A. CA), Sound the Siren (toledo, ohio) and many more local and national artists. Jhenna Ashcraft left Formaldehyde in early February, 2006. She was replaced by Sam Langley shortly after, a long time friend of formaldehyde.
