Los Angeles own iron fisted Five Finger Death Punch is seemingly coming out of nowhere, but by the opening riffs of the record, it's instantly apparent these guys are black belts in their art of metal. That's probably because the whole 5.F.D.P. crew came from bands with solid street credit, some of them even from Billboard charting major label acts. It is the way of the fist. Who are these shaolin punks? Zoltan Bathory (guitars) before he formed 5.F.D.P. he was kicking up dust with U.P.O. (Sony/Epic) and a long row of European metal bands. His euro riffs and unorthodox style of shreddage gives the band its signature machinegun-like onslaught.
