Finger Eleven consists of Sean Anderson (bass), Rich Beddoe (drums), Rich Jackett (guitar), Scott Anderson (vocals), and James Black (guitar). The group, which stems from Burlington, Ontario, Canada, formed in high school under the name Rainbow Butt Monkey. The band had consisted of all the original members except drummer Rich Beddoe, Rather, Rob Gommerman had been the group’s drummer. Rainbow Butt Monkey played at local concerts and eventually ended up winning a local talent show sponsored by a hometown radio station. The group used their prize money to record their first album. The group’s debut album was titled Letter From Chutney. Soon after the album was completed, Gommerman left the band and was replaced by Beddoe. The group then changed their name to Finger Eleven. A lot of people have the belief that the group picked the name from a male body part. This is not true.
