Rising from the ashes of no previously awesome bands whatsoever is FENWICK. This band, comprised of Jenna Lemieux (bass), Colleen Gerossie (guitar, vocals), and Joanna Petren (drums), all from the Merrimack Valley area in Massachusetts, is dedicated to having fun and making sure everyone in their vicinity is having fun too, even if it is at their own expense.
Don’t be fooled by the term “pop-punk”, which is commonly used when referring to FENWICK. Unlike the music coming from the bland, dime-a-dozen, ridiculous “pop-punk” bands showcased on MTV’s “TRL”, Fenwick plays interesting, fast-paced, original songs with pleasant surprises and honest lyrics. Since 2002, the band has acquired quite a fan base despite having never officially released an album and having relatively no merchandise.
