El Trío: Rock band formed by Jonás with drumer Pablo Pena and bass player Kilvin Peña. A power trio in the vein of bands like The Hendrix Experience, Cream, Living Colur etc...with a strong emphasis in songwriting, form, dominican-latin fusion and improvisation.The band is devoted to playing jonás` more rocking spanish songs, here he sings and plays the guitar. Jonatan Piña Duluc (Jonás) July 2005 Born in Santiago, Dominican Republic in 1976 he is a composer, singer-songwriter, and multinstrumentalist. He Taught himself to play the guitar at age 14 and wrote his first songs on that instrument. His music includes songs and instrumentals in a wide range of styles and influences, pop, hard rock, hiop hop, jazz, contemporary-classical, traditional latin troubadour, and dominican folk. He was awarded the Premio Nacional de Música 2005, Symphonic-Coral category In the DR. Also won the Primer Concurso de Composición de Casa de Teatro 2001, Classical category, in Santo Domingo.
