I started writing music back in elementary school in 5th grade. The school band consisted of 3 trumpets (plus my cornet) and two clarinets. The very first piece I wrote for the band was never played since the other kids weren't actually taught how to play it. That experience bummed me out for several years until I picked up the electric guitar. THAT changed my life and started me on my journey in music. I studied arranging and composing along with classic guitar. I ended up being a copyist for quite a while and gigged the whole time.
