Born and raised in New Orleans,La. Doc Box M.D.[Bryant Joseph,Sr] started out beatboxing in the hallways of John F. Kennedy High School where he met local legend E.R.C. who was in a group doing shows around New Orleans. The two became friends and used to give "mini" concerts at lunchtime along with other rappers in school. It was then where Doc decided to try his hand at writing raps. After high school Doc took his best rhymes to his friend for approval and after taking his advise got better at it, so much so that E.R.C. thought Doc was ready and introduced him to DJ Precise a up and coming producer at the time. Doc and 'Cise became fast friends working in the studio sometimes all night perfecting songs and creating new sounds making demos. Apart of Full Pack Productions 'Cise started getting recognition as the best producer in New Orleans even before Manny Fresh and Doc felt good about "getting first dibs" on a track from his friend.
