DJ Blade started mixing in 1998 with 2 Alba Discmans and a mixer from Tandy, with no clue what to do he set about putting similar speed tunes together to see what happened. A few weeks later he realised that you need pitch shift to beat match properly, moving to turntables a few months later enabled him to learn how to beat match and start to progress into the DJ you hear today. Blade did the friends parties, halls and internet radio stations in the years to follow, he got accepted onto the Topjox DJ register in 2004, however not 1 booking came from them and he soon realised all they wanted was to help the DJ's who already had work in clubs. So from here he began to enter all the battles and competitions he could find, he got to a few finals in the last couple of years at local pub battles, and got a few guest slots too. Being very keen on making music too he was always at his mates house getting the knowledge on how to produced, going from programs like Mixman, Fruity loops, Cub...
