We are Displacement, a 5-piece Thrash Metal band from Bolton.... Our music is comprised of unrelenting brutal riffs, speedy tempos and catchy melodies, brought together with an uncompromising will to speak our minds on a varied range of subjects.... The Displacement live show is extremely energetic, due to the highly active and captivating music that we play. Every member puts as much effort into our performance as possible, to help propel the energy across to the audience.... Displacement was formed by Colin (Lead Guitar), Mike (Bass Guitar) and Stef (Rhythm Guitar) in January 2004. Karl (Drums) and Danny (Vocals) completed the line up and we began to work on a short set for our first gig 4 weeks later. Since then we have played over 50 gigs all across the country, and managed to build up a huge following of dedicated fans in and around Bolton....
