D.I.L.E.M.A. was born, raised, and played on the streets of South Carolina but moved down to the Atlanta area to make forward progress in his musical career. He began trying to make it as an artist and is now JUST TRYING TO MAKE IT.
From the age of 15 on, D.I.L.E.M.A. has had both a job and a hustle and this can be heard in listening to his music. He speculates on everything from hustlin' to make ends meet to getting a legal gig as a part of maturity to making it big while still being humble. His versatility shines and he makes his music by the mantra that is also the acronym for his name, "Delivering Ill Lectures Entrapping My Audience."
D.I.L.E.M.A. has shared the stage in explosive, crowd-moving performances with the likes of JIM JONES, TYRESE, LIL JON, D4L, and others and has appeared on mixtapes hosted by LUPE FIASCO & M-1 of DEAD PREZ in addition to hosting his own mixtape.
With his singles "Seat Reclined" and "Single File" already spinning area Atlanta clubs like The Poole Palace (of DEM FRANCHISE BOYZ Lean Wit It fame), Club 714, and T.I. owned Club Crucial, the "captain of hooks'," debut album, Hittin' Home, will be hitting the streets the first quarter of 2008.
