In Spring 2006, Mike Fremeau and I drove west from our respective homes in Jackson, MI and Cleveland, OH. We joined Bobby Seus and Lee Barbara in their hometown of Medford, OR. Bobby had played with each of us in separate musical groups over the past 8 years, and although we didn’t know each other at all, it only took a few phone calls from Bobby to get us together. We all shared a dream of creating music that’s fun as all hell to play in front of 2 or even 27 people (or more, someday). With three of us bringing new songs to the table, in our first week together we realized we’d have a lot of cool ideas to work with between us. Our initial recording session in January 2006 (in Bobby’s living room) started as a 4-song demo, but eventually became our 8-track debut EP. The short story behind the EP is that we had flown to Medford in January to meet each other and throw song ideas around, then started recording the first couple songs (Arcade Song, Not Waitin' Around and Sandy Page).
