All it takes is Smash a couple guitars, ask how New York is doing tonight, and jump all over the stage like theres no tomorrow. A band comes along with not only the rock-out skills, but with an ability for putting words together described as nothing short of genius. From eastern Long Island NY, comes Defeated Purpose

Defeated Purpose is a band hailing from Eastern LI, New York. They consist of Casey Jacobs (vocals, guitar) Kevin Butcher(bass, ) Ivan Ceron (guitar) and Sean Scully(drums,background vocals). It offically became Defeated Purpose in November of 2002. We have gone through multiple line ups, mostly bass players but for a long time we've set our official lineup.
