Smooth, mellow, & soulful jazz pianist Deems is a native of Seattle Washington & has been performing professionally since 1970. He has achieved worldwide airplay w/ his instrumental hit single Tough Tofu. Deems studied classical music from ages 5-14 and then turned his attention to popular music, jazz, blues, & soul music. The artist has released 10 albums some of which feature his various bands: The Living band-1986, Seattle Groove-1996, & his current group-The Irving Street band-2010.
