Darling Daizy was formed in 1999 by Erik West, Bjorn Coucheron and Andy G. All band members had by then played in several different bands along the Norwegian south-coast. The band wrote and recorded 15 songs for their debut album that year.
Darling Daizy’s first album “ Passè “came out in march 2000 on Bratville Records and The Orchard. They played a lot of shows in Norway and went for their first tours in Europe and USA. NBC in America picked 3 songs from “ Passè “ and used them in a youth series called “ SK8 “.
In 2001 Andy left the band and Bjorn’s younger brother Kim Kong entered the band to play drums. The band toured Norway and Europe again and started the work on their second full length “ Can I get a woop woop!?. “ Can I get a woop woop!? “ was recorded at “STUDIO STUDIO” in Norway.
