Dan Anies is a composer, performer, arranger and music teacher from Spain. He is classically educated starting at the age of 8 at the Conservatory of Music in Barcelona, where he studied cello, piano and composition. He has conducted several choirs in the city of Barcelona. He has great capacity for improvisation, taking music from Persian classical themes to Irish folklore plus many other traditions. On many different occasions he has toured internationally giving concerts with spiritual inspiration in different European countries for example, Poland, Check Republic, Slovakia, Austria, Germany and France. He has performed and conducted a choir composition at the Conservatory of Music in Victoria. He sang and performed his improvisation pieces and written work in different locations throughout Vancouver and other BC cities.
