Descended from various local 90's rock and psychedelic bands, the Curvy Straights is a culmination of energies necessitated by the swirling chaos of society's impulsions. This weird, emotive indie rock ensemble trembles with introspective darkness, weaving a tapestry of epic intensity and pop flavoring that alternately confuses and delights. According to singer/guitarist Matt Lintzenich, "The songs are a frenzy of emotive backlash against the spiritual dissolution and loss associated with the unstoppable rotation of the galaxy."
