The Tallahasee, Florida based rock band known as Creed has made a big impression on the world of music today. Starting off with hardly any material to begin with, Creed went against the odds and in no time, became one of the most influential bands of the decade. Although widely known as a "christian rock band", Creed is not totally a christian band. This is invoked by the Christian Media saying that songs are based on life experiences by frontman, Scott Stapp. Creed is made up of vocalist Scott Stapp, guitarist Mark Tremonti, bass player Brian Marshall, and drummer Scott Phillips. In the early 1990's, while Scott was studying to be a lawyer at Florida State University, he met up with Mark Tremonti and later dropped out of school to pursue his musical interests.
