Bourne out of the slums of Dublin, these wandering souls found music as their only escape from a world of drugs, alcohol and poverty. Hoping to one day enter a world of drugs, alcohol and lots of money. The Circus was formed at a notorious Clondalkin house party, when Niall and Aaron decided to start a band. Surrounded by unconscious druggies and semi-naked ladies, the two, enemies, shook hands for the first time. Later, musician Alan Kenna was recruited to drum temporarily for the band and they showed their recruitment skills again at a solo show by future bassist Seán Donegan. Seán, tired of life alone on the road, accepted their invitation to join the band and with temp. drummer Kenna emigrated to London in search of a better life, we have the current line-up of The Circus.
