Yearning, thoughtfulness, and melancholy define the rock songs of singer and songwriter CHR!S. Coming from the metal / hard rock scene, his own songs stand for catchy hooklines, feelings, and sensitivity. Role models like David Bowie, U2, Pearl Jam, etc. have left their mark on the music of CHR!S without loosing track of his own authenticity. As a singer and guitarist for Born, CHR!S had no less than three single hits, rotation on many national radio stations, and placements in various airplay charts (e.g. "Ready for the Fall" at number 9 in November 2005).
