Magnetic and dynamic stage presence. Moving lyrics and melodies. With a voice compared to some of the greatest in music, Chantal Ambroise has the makings of a lasting musical career. Chantal considers home the small town of Swansea, MA. At an early age it was obvious Chantal had a talent for music. Chantal overcame a turbulent childhood while living in Portsmouth, VA and began singing in jazz bands throughout high school and college, inspired by the great singers of the past. While attending Massachusetts College of Art, she was exposed to new ideas of production, writing, and performance. After graduation in 2004, Chantal began singing lead with her own funk/soul band "Alto Reform School" which featured some of the most talented and respected musicians in Boston.
