The C.E.S. Crew (Crimson Eye Society, pronounced "sess cru") is a hip-hop group consisting of three emcees and their producer; hailing from Tampa Bay, Florida. The emcees; Soni Chiefa, Slick Worthington, RahSkilz, and producer Aknocka have all been friends since childhood and this group is the culmination of their musical dreams. The C.E.S.'s sound can be described as underground hip-hop with some hardcore rap undertones and their music has been compared to the Alkaholiks, De La Soul, and even the Goodie Mob with an up north feel. The group's origin begins around 2002 when longtime friends Aknocka and Soni Chiefa collaborated on their first demo LP 40's & Blunts, which was released as an independent project in Charlotte, NC. In 2003 the duo was joined by RahSkilz (Soni's brother) and began work on their sophomore LP Hen & Dro.
