"Carnival of Soul" has an extensive history. Originally called "Brainstorm", they got their start in Frankfurt, Germany in 1986. They relocated to the states (Mid-Missouri) in 1989, and they assumed the name "Last Rites". They toured with such acts as Night Ranger, Girlschool, Strutter(#1 KISS tribute band) while recording their first epic recording. They moved to SW Florida in 1995, and released their 1st CD entitled "(music from)'A Dream from the Heartland'" on Reindeer Records. They changed their name for the 3rd time (again, due to the fact that another band using the same name had been around much longer) to "Carnival of Soul" in 1997. They released their 2nd effort, "Persistance, No Excuses (and absolutely no apologies)" and began the long hard road in support of this CD.
