When people ask me what kind of music I play, I have to first question myself.....every time. I want to play every style, and play every style well. In this modern country driven by categories, I would adore being the chameleon. I guess it comes from when I was young. From age five, I wanted to be able to immitate any kind of singing I heard. My dad bought me a guitar back then sometime, but I was just a little too young and hyper to sit and play. But, everywhere I went, I was singing. It really annoyed the shit out of some people. I've always had this saying that said,"Vocals are the only instrument that you can practice no matter what you're doing." So, from age five to about eight I sang on stage with my Dad and my brother Shiloh. It wasn't until I was about sixteen that I really picked up the guitar with the intention of learning how to play it.
