the original lineup goes back to early 98, an old german bunker on the jersey coast was a practice room and we were a 3 piece. dave spars on bass + vocals, steve creedy on guitar and backing and josh gillard on drums, the crashing jets were born.we started off with a handful of covers by bands like fugazi and the gadgits but something wasn't quite there. josh decided to quit, steve shortly followed. dave was pissed off and soon the word got out for new members. so mid 98 dave started jamming with rico sorda on guitar and darren eversfield (eddie) on drums. they had a good few years on dave but loads of energy. they practised flat out and after a year they had a handful of gigs behind them and a good following. suddenly dave decided to leave the island and rico and eddie were stuck. sept 2000 they started jamming with steve from the original line up and lee gosselin on bass (who'd been on the band scene for a good few years). it seemed to gel straightaway and with a couple of the old...
