On September 7 1936, in Lubbock Texas, was born one of the most important Rock and Roll legends . His parents , Mrs. Ella and Mr. Lawrence Holly, called their fourth children, Charles Hardin; although they nicknamed him Buddy Holly. Holly's parents always encouraged him and his brothers love for music. At the tender age of five, Buddy won the frist five dollars prize, singing "Down the river of memories". Later he took a few months of piano lessons and then a brother taugh him some guitar lessons.
