Bryan Grant Artist Bio Bryan Grant composes, arranges and performs easy listening jazz instrumentals with a flair for dreamy melodies and a soothing, positive vibe. “I’m an anesthesiologist, I put people to sleep for a living. How apropos!” he jokes of his profession, quick to note that if the opportunity came along, he’d leave it all for a chance to pursue his musical passion all day. “Being creative is important to me. It’s a place where you can really be yourself, and what comes out, comes out.” Music was Grant’s passion as far back as when he was a child and taught himself to play the piano, while visiting his aunt’s house and studying his niece’s piano lessons secondhand. His family was given a piano as a gift when he was a teenager, and Grant promptly glued himself to the bench, learning all the pop songs on the charts and picking up on their arrangements.
