Get Borea new album on http://album.boreamusic.com ! In 2005, Fred and Kris's first pieces were written with Swedish northern lights as a backdrop. The latter, also known as aurora borealis, were to give birth to the initial project and the current band’s name. The piano, guitar and bass parts were indeed compiled under the name 'Borea'. They were characterized by their tuneful style and a mood echoing with Tim Burton's movies. Fred was then a pianist in a musical - LuleSpexet 2005. This enabled him to give public performances during a Swedish tour including many towns: Stockholm, Lulea, Linköping, Skelleftea, Göteborg... 2006 was the year when the BOREA project took shape in Nancy, France, where Fred was then a student in Computer Science. The four-member band gave public performances in the East of France (Nancy, Metz, Belfort, Montbéliard where Fred comes from) and in Luxembourg.
