One of the finest groups from the midwest,Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, the Cleveland based band made their breakthrough in the music business in 1994. Their first mainstream album[They had previously released a CD called Faces Of Death with Def Jam records under another name]Creepin' On Ah Come Up released and brought together two hits, Thuggish Ruggish Bone and Foe Tha Love Of $, instantly gaining the five-some street and music industry credibility.
The group, comprised of Krayzie Bone, Layzie Bone[brother to],Flesh-N-Bone, Wish Bone, And Bizzy Bone later released their most popular album East 1999 Eternal in 1996 which brought the hits Tha Crossroads[A Mo Thug Remix of 'Crossroads']and First of the Month, a 'Foe Tha Love Of $' type song. Their next 5 albums came in this order; The Art Of War [1998], The Collection Vol. One [1998], BTNHRessurection [2000], The Collection Vol. Two [2000], and Thug World Order [2002].
During that time in 1997 Krayzie, Layzie, and Flesh-N-Bone came together to create Mo Thugs, them and a collection of artists they had signed, came together to make their first album Mo Thugs:Family Scriptures. After the platinum success of the CD Wish Bone joined for the second time around and Mo Thugs:Family Reunion came out in 1998. Mo Thugs:The Mothership debuted in 2000 with only Layzie and Flesh hanging around. And now the most recent CD Mo Thugs:The Movement reunited Krayzie and Wish with Layzie and Flesh in 2003.
From 1994 to 2003 4 of Bone's members have released seven solo LP's. Krayzie's 2 disk 'Thug Mentality' and 'Thug On Da Line'. Bizzy's 'Heaven'z Movie' and 'The Gift'. Flesh's 'T.H.U.G.S. Trues Humbly United Gathering Souls' and '5th Dog Let Loose' and Layzie's 'Thug By Nature'.
Through the years Bone has had struggles and most recently Bizzy Bone was released from the group, leaving only three true thugs[Flesh has been sentenced to a 19 year jail sentence, but should be recording in 2006 again].
Bone Thugs-N-Harmony is also, and always will be, the only group to ever record tracks with Eazy E[Mentor and reason for success], Notorious B.I.G., and 2 Pac.
