BIOGRAPHY Bobby G. Summers Lakeland, Florida, 2006 Music veteran Bobby G. Summers has been a creative force in the music industry for several years and has decided to bring his talent to the forefront. Summers has a history of writing, producing and performing with the top names in the industry. A co-founder of the 80’s hit group, “The Deele”, along with Antonio “LA” Reid and later including Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds, Summers advanced writing style and powerful performances attributed to the bands prominent panache, which helped place them in the fore front. Bobby’s departure from the band was untimely but not regretted when he wrote, performed and produced with the Motown Recording Artist, “General Kane”. Summers collaborated on such tunes as “Crack Killed Applejack” and “Can’t Let Go”. Following these attributes, Bobby G, joined the “Bar-Kays”, creating the unforgettable anthem “The Slide”.
